To live a worry free life means personally I have to be in constant communication through prayer with the Father, have confidence that He will see me through any and everything (faith), meditate on the word of God daily, and remember that with God there is no plan B. 

    

I remember a time that I worried continually, and it wasn’t that I didn’t pray to God for help, because I did. I became frustrated, with feelings of disappointment, and became deeply depressed when He didn't respond right away or in the way I expected. When the answer seemed further from becoming reality, I slowly began to stray away.   I stopped praying and saying "in Jesus' name" because I thought it was a waste of my time. My heart never ceased in wanting to please God, but I was discouraged and scared to go back to Him because I didn't want any more disappointments.  Like a life preserver when drowning, Isaiah 41:10 (So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand) was the one scripture that really helped me. God reminded that He never left my side even when I left His.

 

Once I started believing in the Word of God, thanking Him for the things He’s done for me and began following His commandments, my heart was filled with peace and He began to bless me beyond my wildest dreams. I went from being unemployed, homeless and stressed to having a stable income, a new place and newfound family (church family). 

God not only became REAL to me, but He became my everything. Another way God blessed me was that He healed my mom's body of cancer. I now no longer doubt God and refuse the temptation to stress out. He remained, and still remains, faithful to His word for me. He placed the right people in my life and brought me to a place where all my worries were comforted.

 

Everyday, new worries try to enter my life and mind presenting new battles for me, but God is my only option and my faith increases daily!
