Daytona Christian Center's Spring Gala is a black tie affair that gives its partners, and the body of Christ, a chance to display the grace and beauty God has designed for His people. The distinctive atmosphere created by a host of fun loving believers charges the room with positive energy. It will be held on Saturday, June 22nd. Cocktail hour will begin at 6pm, with festivities beginning at 7pm.
From the Dubee Awards, to the live entertainment, Gala 2019 guarantees that the evening will incorporate activities that will provide enjoyment for all who attend.
The host of Gala 2019 will none other than Joseph Stitt. Joseph Stitt is an amazing photographer, but yet a better youth group leader at the church he attends in Fort Lauderdale, FL. He is known for his quick wit and awesome ability to make those around him smile.
Our special guest for the evening will be recording artist, Uncle Reece. Uncle Reece was born Maurice Hicks, Jr. on February 14, 1984, in Savannah, Georgia. His music career started in 2012, with the release of "Until I Pass Out" single on March 1 of that year, and it charted at No. 15 on the Hot Gospel Songs chart by Billboard. Uncle Reece's message is bold enough to go where many other artists, especially rappers, have been afraid to go. Hisstory is a testament to how God’s presence can change someone’s life.
Gala 2019 will be held at the Plaza Resort and Spa. A 7-minute walk from the Daytona Beach Bandshell, this relaxed, ocean-view hotel is 0.5 miles from the Daytona Lagoon water park and 0.8 miles from the Daytona Beach Boardwalk.
Here is some info that you should know:
1. The address of the venue is 600 N Atlantic Ave, Daytona Beach, FL. Info on the directions is below.
2. This is a formal event. Please no jeans.
3. The dinner is buffet style with a choice of Grilled Flank Steak, Blackened Grouper, or Margarita Chicken.
4. Event will begin at 6pm with no assigned seating.
5. We request you willingness to participate in the evening's activities that have cash prizes up for grabs.
Directions:
From Mason Ave: Head east on mason Ave /sr 430. Cross oakridge blvd bridge to A1A, turn left on A1A and the Plaza Resort and Spa is on your right side.
Parking: Free parking in the north parking lot is located just north of Seabreeze Blvd and in the south parking garage. Valet service is available at main entrance for a small fee.
Be sure to purchase your tickets for you and your guests prior to June 20th because tickets will not be made available at the door.
